(2) A youth hunter who takes an antlered deer under this subsection may not take another antlered deer during the: The youth hunter may use any legal shotgun, bow and arrow, or crossbow. Here is the applicable code: 312 IAC 9-3-4 I normally reserve responses in this section to Morrison but I will address one other point he did not cover that being the Special Youth Deer season you mentioned as the restriction to one deer only changed a few years back and others need to know this as well.
